Memory-Map [Topo mode] - Transferring data between the Memory-Map PC program and the Navigator

Author: Robert Taylor Reference Number: AA-00390 Views: 8713 Created: 2014-05-02 13:38 Last Updated: 2014-05-02 13:38 0 Rating/ Voters

Memory-Map's PC software does NOT support direct transfer of data to / from the Hema Navigator. It only supports a small handful of devices directly.

Say you have created and saved some overlays (Tracks, Routes or Waypoints) as an ".mmo" file on your PC.

To transfer these so you can load them on the Navigator, follow this process:

You need to copy the overlay file(s) you have created on the PC to the Memory-Map-GPS-Data folder on the SD card of the Navigator.

Then, when running Memory-Map on the Navigator, go to the menu, and select Overlay, then Open.

Your overlay file should be visible and you can tap the file to load it into Memory-Map.

Note!

It is not possible to directly transfer the overlay from the PC version of Memory-Map to the Navigator. You need to copy the file using Windows Explorer directly to the Memory-Map-GPS-Data folder on the SD card.
